Establishment of State Bank of Mysore

State Bank of Mysore was established in 1913 as a government owned bank of erstwhile Government of Mysore as Bank of Mysore Limited under the patronage of the great scientist-engineer-educationist-philosopher Dr. M.Visweswaraiah. Later in the year 1960 the bank became a subsidiary of State Bank of India and took the name of State Bank of Mysore.
